LSF-USA is the American counterpart to Luthiers Sans Frontières, an international organization that provides repair services to musicians, orchestras, and ensembles in areas where no local services are available. Between 2010 and 2017, American LSF members have traveled to Trinidad, Jamaica, Cuba, Haiti, and Ecuador in service to musicians and orchestras, and are proud to aid the growth of music education across the world.

We are proud to announce that Ute Zahn and Anna Huthmaker were invited to the 2014 Violin Society of America Conference to present a seminar on LSF-USA!! A wonderful time was had by all, and the mission of LSF-USA was shared with many. For a transcript of the lecture, click here.


During the 2013/2014 holidays, LSF Board members Ute Zahn and Anna Huthmaker traveled to Trinidad to do some more work with the Caribbean Network Arts & Education Foundation (CANOAE) program. Bel Son Productions is proud to release "Kenbe La-Hold On", a documentary about the work of musicians and teachers in Haiti, before and after the earthquake.
